Episode 86: The Healthy Voyager with Carolyn Scott-Hamilton
Carolyn Scott-Hamilton is a plant-based chef, cook-book author, and television personality who specializes in how to stay healthy while travelling abroad. Carolyn has travelled the world for her show – the Healthy Voyager -- and offered her services as a health and nutrition expert, recipe developer, writer, speaker, consultant, and media spokesperson.
The Healthy Voyager show was born with the goal of helping people with dietary restrictions navigate international travel while also having fun and enjoying themselves. As of 2006, Carolyn has travelled and dined healthfully, all while documenting through her Healthy Voyager Web Series. The Healthy Voyager is also a one-stop-shop for all things green living –from travel and recipes, to fashion and relationships.
Her cookbook, The Healthy Voyager’s Global Kitchen, launched in 2012, with a cooking show of the same name launching in 2014. Her shows have won multiple awards and accolades over the years.
Carolyn is currently working on a food line, clothing line, travel kit line, and more. In fact, she launched her follow-up cookbook as a 10-year anniversary edition in December 2021, called The Healthy Voyager’s Global Kitchen: 175 Plant-Based Recipes from Across the Globe.
Meantime, Carolyn expertise has been a “go-to” source across the media landscape. She’s been featured on the Discovery Channel, CNN, USA Today, and Martha Stewart Radio. She is currently the travel correspondent for Hallmark Home & Family, while her shows are syndicated on MSN Travel, The Food Channel, AOL and more.
